Hairdressers rally round in marathon support effort
HAIRDRESSERS were running at full tilt at Kate's Barber Shop in Bristol Road on Sunday to help raise as much money as possible for the Meningitis Trust.
Kate Spear is running the London Marathon for the charity in April, and her friends at the salon wanted to join in the fundraising bid themselves.

Salon manager Katie Price was only too happy to help out.
"Kate's nephew, Max, died from meningitis ten years ago as a baby and she said if she ever did any fundraising it would be for the trust," she said. "We kept the running theme going by dressing up as the 118 characters for the day."
