Desmond O'Connor brings back The Comedy Cabaret and Late Night Fringe Fun, hosting evening shows with the likes of Ali Cook, Mat Ricardo and Abigail Collins on Thursday at the Parabola Arts Centre and The Strand.

Cheltenham Town Hall hosts many of the big names, kicking off with Welsh stand-up star Rhod Gilbert (pictured above) and rounding off with the finale, headlined by Stephen K Amos and featuring Terry Alderton, Men In Coats, Andrew O'Neill, Debra Jane Appleby and host Boothby Graffoe.

Rhod, Alexei, Julian and Frankie are all featuring in Curry and a Pint evenings, which includes a tasty curry meal and a pint of something before the show.

The Waterstones Family Fun Day also on Saturday includes performances from Squashbox Theatre, acclaimed children's author John Dougherty and the Comedy Club 4 Kids, plus free workshops, events, face painting, craft activities and walkabout performances at the Parabola Arts Centre.

Late & Local, which is almost sold out, will feature the best local comedians as well as up and coming new acts on Friday at The Strand.

And local comedy club Howlers will have the best in national touring comedic talent on Wednesday at the Town Hall.

Tickets for all events are on sale via the Town Hall box office, online at www.cheltenhamtownhall.org.uk or by calling 0844 576 2210.
