Happy renters call for lettings agency standards
Happy renters Tom Lefek and Gabi Stefanova, pictured, have been living in Wickhamford, near Broadway, for 18 months.
The couple, who live in a two-bedroom bungalow in the village, found their home through a regulated agent and insist compulsory standards for all letting agencies is essential.

Tom, who is a trained property manager and has previously worked in Cheltenham, said: "Absolutely they should be regulated. I have learned about the responsibilities of tenants and agents and what both sides need to do.
"It will cost the UK economy millions through the disputes and court cases that happen because they are not."

“Bizarre article, I thought it must have been an advert but there is no company mentioned.
Also, how is Broadway getting mentioned in Stroud Life?
And the picture looks like it has just been taken off Facebook.”

“This is an advert. It may be "Stroud Life" but it is not "life" as we know it.”

“On the other hand an article spelling out the perils of using unregulated letting agencies, citing case-study examples, might well be useful.”

“So they haven't had a problem with renting, but there is an article about how people might have a problem about renting. Plus it won't cost the UK economy millions, it will cost tenants that can't be bothered to see if an agency is signed up to a code of conduct and they get ripped off, or the agent if they are taken to court. What a very strange article indeed.”
