Harlequins suffer a defeat, but make a happy bow
HARDWICKE and Quedgeley Harlequins took to the field for their first full game, against an experienced All Blues side.
Blues opened the scoring with quick hands that exposed a gap on the wing for Matt Duckworth to go over.
Harlequins earned a penalty in the 22 after some strong forward play but fly-half Gerald Harris was off target.
All Blues re-started and quickly broke wide again and despite some committed tackling by Luke Bowkett and Aaron Mitchell, Rob Nicholls went over.

Harlequins scrum-half Craig Harman put himself in the history books with a finely taken first ever try for the club which he also converted.
All Blues reacted well and the pressure told with scores from Ed Dingle and Rich Collins.
The second half started well for Harlequins forcing another penalty which Harman dragged wide .
Harlequins found the boot of Edwards was their downfall, as his kicks created space for the All Blues, leading to another try for Duckworth.
Harlequins combined well to score a second after strong running from Pete Harris and Dom Coral, allowed Alec Horsburgh in by the posts.
Inexperience and some tired mistakes allowed All Blues in for two late tries for Gareth Morris and Stewart Barsellotti.
