Harvest festival nets 300 items for Gloucester Foodbank
AN impressive harvest festival haul has been collected by children at Hillview Primary School.
More than 300 tins, packets and jars were donated by the 210 pupils and their families over the past week.

On Monday, they were packed up and sent off to the Gloucester Food Bank.
It provides emergency food parcels to families in need in the area.

Community manager for the Hucclecote school Kevin Howie said: "We support the food bank every year and we are delighted with the donations that have been collected this harvest festival.
"It helps the children learn about some of the families that suffer at this time of year and don't have enough to eat."
