"Healing miracles" expected when "prophet" comes to Gloucester
A CHURCH in Gloucester says it is expecting to see "healing miracles" when a high profile preacher visits this weekend.
Julian Adams, who describes himself as an "experienced prophet" will be at The City Church Gloucester tonight and tomorrow.

SPIRITUAL: Julian Adams.
Leaders believe his presence will bring "supernatural" Biblical wonders, including the healing of the sick.
Mr Adams claims those who have benefited from his prayers include a 15-year-old boy who had his hearing restored and a couple who said they were medically unable to have children and are now expecting their first child.

When asked how he would answer sceptics Mr Adams told The Citizen: "I don't claim to be a healer. As a Christian and member of the Evangelical church, I believe God heals.
"We don't understand why he sometimes doesn't heal but he's a good, loving God and wants to heal today."
Born to Christian parents in Cape Town, he moved to England in 2006 and visits churches around the world as part of his work as director of ministry organisation Frequentsee Trust.
The 34-year-old has been invited to bring his "spiritual gifts" to the George Whitefield Centre, in Great Western Road tonight and tomorrow at 7.30pm and in a service of celebration on Sunday at 10am.
Lead elder of the church Mark Jones said: "We're expecting great things."
Jan van der Elsen, from the Buddist Centre in Gloucester, disagreed with the idea and said: "Nobody can heal you but yourself. Even doctors can't, they give you medication and that's what stimulates you to heal."

“If he's a prophet can someone ask him to prophesy the winner of today's Gold Cup, or even better, the Six Nations and we can see if he gets either right. At least with the Six nations he's got a 50/50 chance of being correct.”
