The progress hasn't 'stalled' on the canal as you put it, due to the trust over the last couple of years obtaining several new sites along the length of canal to be restored, with some sections now back in water.

Therefore, I believe that your statement is outdated and suggest that you look at their website at http://tinyurl.com/88cekex or view their quarterly magazine 'The Wharfinger' which shows the canal trust has been working hard to achieve these goals.

I'm sure that they would be willing for you to offer some 'hands on' help, which will help speed on the restoration of this lovely canal.”

“I'm willing to offer some 'hands on' help, but progress seems to have stalled (at this end of the canal at least) since the restoration of the short stretch at Over some years ago. Perhaps the Trust could tell us when work beyond Over is likely to recommence?”
