Henderson awaits result of hearing
TOP trainer Nicky Henderson was today waiting to find if he would lose his licence after one of his horses failed a drugs test.
Henderson, the leading current trainer at the Cheltenham Festival, requested an oral hearing at the British Horseracing Authority yesterday after seeking legal advice.
Henderson was last week found guilty of administering a prohibited anti-bleeding drug to the Queen's mare Moonlit Path before a race at Huntingdon in February.
If the decision stands, he faces either a heavy fine or at worst the loss of his licence.
