Currently, he coaches the England Colleges back, following coaching positions with Hull FC Academy and Bristol Ladies RFUW Premiership.

Director of sport at the University of Gloucestershire, Andy Pitchford, said: "Brad is a fantastic leader. He knows the game inside out and inspires players with his knowledge, commitment and courage.

"He will be an excellent coach for us and fits the All Golds mould – he is rugby league through and through but he understands education and what a university can bring to this great sport."

Hepi's first challenge will be to build on the successful student side that already appears in the British Universities and Colleges (BUCS) leagues.

An open trial, where prospective players will be assessed by Hepi and his coaches, will take place on Sunday, December 9 at Gloucester Academy, Cotteswold Road, Gloucester, from noon.

For further information on the trial, contact Rob Webber, the All Golds development officer, at rwebber@glos.ac.uk
