Heston Bluementhal's fantastical ice cream giveaway!
HUNDREDS of tubs of ice cream created for whacky TV chef Heston Blumenthal's latest show are being given away to Citizen readers, charities and community groups.
Unilever Gloucester, home of world-famous Walls, helped the zany kitchen chemist build the record-breaking one-tonne ice cream for a Channel Four programme, shown on Tuesday night.

n-ice: The huge ice cream was put together in Gloucester Park. Inset; Chef Heston Blumenthal.

Dave Baker, Walls technology project manager, helped with the production.
Sunday and Monday evenings £12.00 per head for an all inclusive meal with Indian and Thai cuisine (normal price £14.50).
Bring this voucher to the restaurant complete with your name and email address on it.

Valid until: Wednesday, July 31 2013
"It was quite something to work with Heston, the programme certainly gave Walls and Gloucester a good show," he said. "You're never sure how these things will be edited but it showed the full story of how difficult it was to create."
Five hundred tubs will be handed over to ice-cream lovers who purchase The Citizen from 10am tomorrow at the Asda store in Metz Way.
