Families from all over Gloucestershire are invited to take part in the Dean Heritage Centre's Pirate Weekend at the site in Camp Mill.
The centre's own Captain Jack will be leading budding crew members in a variety of activities, including walk the plank, to encourage problem-solving skills and team building.

Visitors can also take part in pirate trails, arts and crafts on a pirate theme, and potential crew members who arrive in costume might win a prize.
The event will run from 10am to 5pm on both days, and tickets are priced at £5.40 for adults and £4 for children aged five to 16. The centre also has family tickets at £21.
