A new health food store is heading to Stroud next Wednesday.

Holland & Barrett will open at 15 High Street on Wednesday, December 15 at 9am.

Four new jobs have been created and the new store will carry a range of vitamins, supplements and herbal remedies. For those with an interest in sports and fitness, it will also have a range of own-label and branded protein powders, energy drinks and nutrients.

Foodies can fill a hole with dried fruit, nuts, seeds and snacks as well as customer favourites like Manuka Honey, herbal teas, and confectionery.

Store manager Hannah Chapell said: "We as a team are really excited to be opening for business in Stroud and offering natural health advice to the local community.

"The store looks great, and we're all eager to open the doors and welcome everyone in.''

On opening day a town crier will be outside the new store shouting about the offers inside.

The store opens with buy one get one half price on aromatherapy and luxury Christmas food lines and half price deals on selected lines of fish oils, glucosamine, cod liver oil and evening primrose oil as well as other special gift offers.
