Setting up a Just Giving site, he posted the appeal on Facebook and Twitter to bring in £567 from 37 donations.

Shelter fundraising manager Deb Barron said: "Gareth's very passionate about this and wanted to use his artistic talents to help us. It's helped us reach £22,200 to replace our 20-year-old unit. It became an emergency as the corrugated plastic roof was leaking."
