Honour for PC who saved a man's life
POLICE officer Emma Tandy has been awarded the Chief Constable's Commendation for saving a man's life.
PC Tandy, from Gloucester, was on a night out at the cinema in Cheltenham when she saw Roger Clifford, 60, having multiple heart attacks.
"We pulled him onto the floor and I started doing chest compressions," she said. She then used a defibrillator.
An ambulance arrived 15 minutes later.

“I hope your family, friends and colleges are very proud of you, as I am sure MR Clifford's is and all who hold him dear! I also hope you are proud of yourself, as I am very proud of you Emma. I think this is a lovely story to read and a valuable commendation from your Chief Constable in recognition of your life saving efforts.”
