House fire in Fairford Road, Downington
FIRE fighters were called to Lechlade yesterday to extinguish a house fire.
A house fire in Fairford Road, Downington, was reported to Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service around 6.25pm on Saturday.

Fire fighters from Fairford and Cirencester fire stations attended the scene, following the call from a neighbour.
Help was given with two more vehicles from Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service.

There was a small fire in the bedroom of the house, and the crew had to use one jet, hose reel and two breathing apparatus to deal with the incident.
The fire was extinguished within 45 minutes.
