House hunting for David 'The Hoff' Hasselhoff in Gloucestershire
KITT could soon be parked in a driveway in the Cotswolds.
Actor David Hasselhoff has revealed he's "fallen in love" with the Cotswolds and plans to put down roots.
The star, famous for his role as lifeguard Mitch Buchannon in Baywatch and Michael Knight with crime-busting super car Kitt in Knight Rider, is reportedly setting up house in Broadway. It is understood The Hoff has put in an offer on a home in the village.
Speculation is rife – but his new country estate could need a few basics to keep him in the style to which he's grown accustomed. A courtyard pool in which he could brush up on life-saving skills could be calling him to Glebe Farm at nearby Saintbury, with offers at more than £2.5 million welcome.
Gents, come in to Earl's & Co and enjoy a haircut and finish, glass of whisky and a shoeshine for £18.50

Charlie Comber, at Hayman Joyce estate agents, said: "There's a lovely outdoor pool for a length or two in the morning and a real sun trap."
Or he might fancy the more modest Long View, in Broadway, a snip at £850,000 and described by Hayman Joyce as a "substantial family home".
Alternatively, the lure of a private airstrip could swing it for Upper Harford House.
The collection of four former farm dwellings and barns is on the market for £1.8 million. But there is also the "rare opportunity" to acquire a private 700-yard airstrip and hanger.
"The Hoff wouldn't be able to fly his Learjet in but could land in smaller planes and a helicopter," said Matthew Harvey from estate agents Tayler and Fletcher. "I think it's fantastic he's is coming here as he's a legend. If he could get hold of Kitt, perhaps he could display it at the Cotswold Motoring Museum at Bourton."
Broadway residents and businesses welcomed the news.
Tracey Sone, of Tisanes Tea Rooms, said: "A lot of young girls work here. I'm sure they would swoon over The Hoff."
Broadway parish clerk Kevin Beasley said: "He'd probably like to stroll down our beautiful High Street and find its whole persona charming.
"We'd want him to feel at home here and to feel like an ordinary resident not just a celebrity."
Long-term local Dotti Friedli said: "Most of the famous who come here like what Broadway has to offer."
Resident and county councillor Liz Eyre added: "We've had many connections over the years with famous people, from Cromwell to the artists of the Broadway Colony – we take everything in our stride."
Mr Hasselhoff and Welsh girlfriend Hayley Roberts divide their time between LA and the UK but want to cross the pond full time. He told The Mirror: "We recently went to the Cotswolds for her birthday and fell in love with the place. We looked at a couple of houses there and have found a place in a little village called Broadway, which we've put an offer in for.
"The Cotswolds won't know what has hit them. I'm hoping the locals take to us though and I'm already naming it Hoffway. I love your country and almost feel like an honorary Brit."
