Hundreds stolen from pensioner
CASH has been stolen from a pensioner's house, after he was duped by a man claiming to be from the council.
An elderly resident in Chalford Road, Tuffley, was visited at 1.30pm on Monday by a man claiming to be their on council business.
The offender then entered the resident's bedroom and stole several hundred pounds.
He is described as in his 40s or 50s, 5ft 7in tall, of medium build, with a Gloucester accent and dressed casually.

It is believed he may have been with another man of a similar age.
