Hurley and Warne break twitter silence over split rumours
Elizabeth Hurley and Shane Warne have taken to twitter following speculation about their relationship.
Australian Warne tweeted: "Some of the reports re EH & me are absolute rubbish. Yes we're sorting through some (private) issues. But we're not throwing the towel in yet."
But Hurley wrote: "Apologies to loyal followers for Twitter silence on recent events. Too raw & personal to share right now."
The actress and former spin bowler, who announced their engagement two years ago had been posting cryptic messages on twitter, leaving celebrity watchers to wonder whether the strains of a long distance relationship has proved too much for the couple.

Hurley, 48, who owns two homes in Ampney Knowle near the Cotswold town of Barnsley, near Cirencester, was due to fly to Australia but cancelled at short notice.
The pair have regularly tweeted each other on the social networking site, since they got together in 2010.
But they hadn't mentioned each other in three weeks.
Warne, who is now a pundit for Sky, didn't mentioned his fiancée, 48, when he celebrated his 44th birthday last Friday.
Warne is currently home in Australia with his family. Hurley is in the UK.
Several days before his birthday, Warne wrote: "Something to think about, it's not what happens in your life, it's how you react to what life throws at u, in both the good & bad times!"
Hurley also posted a similarly cryptic tweet about preferring dogs over men.
Posting a picture of her dog, she said: "The more I know of man, the more I love my dog. Goodnight from me and Raja."
The couple split briefly in 2011. They were first linked in December 2010, after being spotted kissing outside a London restaurant.
They then both independently confirmed the end of their marriages via twitter.
Hurley said her marriage to Arun Nayar was over, confirming that the pair had been separated for a few months.
Around the same time, Shane confirmed on the site that he was no longer with his ex wife Simone Callahan, with who he had reconciled following their 2007 divorce.
Warne popped the question to Hurley at St Andrews, Scotland in October 2011.
The couple planned to marry this year, with ceremonies in both Australia and England.
Last week, Warne ended an interview in New Zealand, because of questions about his private life.
