Hurley would have to wait for farmers market pitch
Model and organic farmer Liz Hurley could be selling her sausages in Stroud.
The celebrity already has pitch at Cirencester Farmers' Market where she sell her Gloucester Old Spot pork, under the name Elizabeth Hurley Farms.
-

Now a representative from her 100 acre farm at Ampney Knowle has contacted Stroud Farmers Market to enquire about taking a stall at the town’s weekly market.
She has been sent an application form for a stall confirmed Clare Gerbrands, who runs Stroud’s Farmers market.
However Stroud Farmer’s Market is currently full, said Clare, so once Ms Hurley has completed the required paper work she will have to wait for a space to be available.

“Why not expand the Stroud Farmers Market, not just for Liz Hurley`s sake but to encourage as many locals (and others) to have a go? Afterall these markets are the future and a real alternative to the `Tescopoly` culture. The Stroud Farmers Market is widely known as one of the very best in the country and needs to cater for an ever widening customer base.”
