Inspection at Cheltenham Racecourse
An inspection has been called for 8am at Cheltenham Racecourse on Friday to assess whether the Festival Trials Day card can go ahead on Saturday.
If racing cannot take place on Saturday, racecourse officials have gained permission from the British Horseracing Authority to stage it on Sunday, weather permitting.
The meeting is due to feature a number of Cheltenham Gold Cup contenders in the Argento Chase, including Bobs Worth, Grands Crus and 2010 Gold Cup winner Imperial Commander.
