Insurance staff dig in to transform school's plot
VOLUNTEERS dug in with gusto to create a productive plot for Pittville School.
Eleven members of Cheltenham-based Endsleigh Insurance's business team helped to restore the school's market garden and allotment.
It was part of the company's Get Going with Endsleigh scheme, to do team challenges with schools.
Before they armed themselves with spades and forks, they'd raised £700 for the project, by holding events including a cake bake, dress-down day and a silent auction.

They spent £300 on topsoil and donated manure.
Teacher Linda Serrabee was delighted with the hard work.
"Students and staff will be able to use the produce in technology, such as catering, at both key stages.
"We can distribute produce to local care homes in donation boxes and might sell it to fundraise at our summer fair.
"The area can also be used as a hands-on teaching space in subject areas such as design technology and science.
"And it will enable access for students from disadvantaged areas who wouldn't normally enjoy such an environment."
