The MP met many of the 25-strong Hourglass team.
The machine, which is the only one of its kind in the region, will help the business to grow further and secure existing jobs , whilst potentially creating demand for new posts in the future.
Kevin Averiss, managing director at Hourglass Seal, said: "The last year has been a tremendously exciting time for Hourglass and we were very pleased to celebrate the success of the business since installing the new line.
