Jail after woman flouts ASBO with late night parties
WILD drinking parties have landed a Cheltenham woman in jail.
Elizabeth Angelo, 38, had been flouting her Asbo as she held gatherings with friends into the early hours at her flat in Watson House in Winchcombe Street.
Despite being warned to put a stop to her wild antics, she continued to upset residents in the Cheltenham Borough Homes (CBH) property, loudly arguing with friends and ringing doorbells late at night.
After breaching an anti-social behaviour order for the 12th time in six months, she was given a 28-day prison sentence at Gloucester Crown Court.

Borough councillor Dave Prince (Pittville and Prestbury, PAB) said residents had endured months of problems from Angelo.
"People simply cannot be allowed to make other residents' lives uncomfortable," he added.
"We all need to live together and integrate into our communities.
"People have their problems but she has been a nuisance for a long time.
"It is a shame it has come to this. Other methods have been tried to make her stop but they have not worked.
"Hopefully she will learn from this experience."
Officers from CBH had brought the action against her after repeated complaints from other tenants.
Angelo was due to appear at Gloucester County Court on October 2 but the case was adjourned when she failed to turn up.
At a later hearing, she admitted many of the allegations, but insisted she was an alcoholic and had no memory of the incidents.
CBH safer estates team manager Paul Tuckey said: "This was a difficult case and we tried our very best to support Ms Angelo to turn her life around.
"However, in this instance, in order to protect the victims of her anti-social behaviour, we were left with no choice but to take legal action.
"Victims should not be continually subjected to such behaviour, and we would encourage anyone living in our communities to come forward and report the culprits.
"We will continue to work with residents to protect those affected under the terms of the injunction and beyond."
