ROCK star Paul Weller is set to take to the stage in Gloucestershire next summer, it was announced yesterday.
The critically-acclaimed Jam frontman will perform at Westonbirt Arboretum on July 20.
He is the latest in a long line of stellar performers at the Forestry Commission's annual series of gigs.
Past performers at the 600-acre site include the likes of Madness, Simply Red and Welsh soprano Katherine Jenkins.

Weller, who has enjoyed six era-defining albums with The Jam and 11 as a solo artist, said: "It will be good for me to be back in the woods.
"I really enjoy the unique atmosphere of these gigs as do the fans."
The 54-year-old enjoys the mantle as one of the greatest singer-songwriters of British popular music and his most recent Number One release 'Sonik Kicks', follows his 2010 Mercury Music Prize-nominated 'Wake Up The Nation'.
Also known as 'The Modfather', Weller is the first artist to sign up to next year's series.
