Jeans for Genes at Heron Primary School
PUPILS and staff at Heron Primary School in Abbeydale ditched their regular attire to get dressed up in denim.
The switch from their usual uniform was in aid of Jeans for Genes, which raises funds for Genetic Disorders UK, the charity that aims to transform the lives of children with genetic disorders.
Year 6 teacher Jan Penman said: "We have been doing this for more than five years now, the pupils really enjoy it.
"They wear their normal uniform on top, but jeans and trainers with it.
