Jobcentre Plus in cash-saving move
JOBHUNTERS will have to visit new premises in Tewkesbury this summer in a move aimed at placing vital services in one spot.
The Jobcentre Plus will be relocating from its current location in Church Street to the council offices in Gloucester Road.
It follows a successful similar move by police seven months ago. Employment advisors hope the switch will save money for the council as well as improving links with other organisations.
Housing benefits, revenues and other county council services are already located on site to help provide a one-stop shop for the unemployed.
