JOBS at Dreams look secure in Gloucestershire after the bed company was bought out of administration.

Four staff from the firm's Gloucester store, off Bristol Road, and five employees from its Cheltenham store, in Gallagher Retail Park, have been transferred after the purchase by Sun Capital Partners.

More than 400 jobs are to go at the bed firm nationally as 93 stores are closed.

But 171 stores, its head office and its two UK manufacturing facilities are to remain, with more than 1,600 jobs being transferred.

I bought a very expensive bed some 7 years ago and have never slepped more than 2 hours since”
