Jobs at risk in Cheltenham as JJB Sports call in administrators
UP to 20 jobs could be at risk at Cheltenham's JJB Sports store after the ailing chain moved to call in the administrators.
Staff at the Gloucester Road store remained in the dark about their future yesterday after company shares on the London Stock Exchange were suspended.

A spokesman for JJB Sports has said that the Gloucestershire branch would continue to trade pending the completion of the sale and the administration process.
A statement for the firm said: "The company currently hopes to be in a position to announce a sale of the trade, assets and brands of the group within the next few days."

The news comes after the group has been hit hard by the squeeze on consumer spending triggered by the financial crisis and by the stellar performance of rivals.
It has been battling for survival since 2008.
Despite the decision to close half its stores, JJB Sports has been unable to revive its fortunes.
