LEGENDARY footballer commentator John Motson believes the demise of Paul Gascoigne is the "reflection of a life spent in the spotlight."

The man regarded by many as the voice of the beautiful game told the Buzz : "He was the most talented English player that I have seen. It is very sad that he has found it very difficult to adjust to life away from football.
