Junior birdwatchers focus on new duty at school
TINY twitchers were out and about in the grounds of St Edward's Junior School as they hunted for feathered friends flying overhead.
Youngsters at the school took part in the Birdwatch scheme, which ran all last week.
With binoculars in hand, they were given the task of counting the birds they saw in the space of an hour before sending their results to the RSPB.
Kate France, head of the infant department, said: "We are so lucky here in that we have these wonderful grounds with a variety of habitats, including our woodland area and huge numbers of well established trees.
