A JURY retired yesterday to consider 19 fraud charges against former care home manager Amy Morris, 29.

But after four hours of deliberations, the jury had not reached any verdicts and were sent home for the weekend by Judge William Hart.

They will resume their discussions on Monday morning.

Mrs Morris, of Midsummer Walk, Hempsted, is alleged to have claimed wages for 44 night shifts she did not work at the Chargrove Lane care home in Shurdington between July 2010 and October 2011.
