Kane McConnon appears in court charged with Whaddon stabbing
A man has appeared in court charged with grievous bodily harm following a Whaddon stabbing.
Kane Sean Owen McConnon entered no pleas at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court this afternoon.
The 22-year-old of Colne Avenue in Whaddon is charged with maliciously or unlawfully committing grievous bodily harm on Curtis Brigdale on Tuesday afternoon.
He also entered no plea to a second charge of having an unlawful weapon, a kitchen knife, in Thames Road on the same date.

Prosecutor Sharon Jomaa said: "The victim in this matter sustained very serious injuries and was kept in hospital where they were stitched and glued."
Defending Nick Cooper made no application for bail for his client, who was dressed in a black top.
Presiding magistrate Tom Fitzgibbon remanded McConnon in custody and ordered he appear next at Gloucester Crown Court on Friday, September 13.
Mr Brigdale was airlifted to hospital in Birmingham suffering from wounds to his back, arms and legs.
A spokesman from Gloucestershire Police said this afternoon: "The man remains in a stable condition in hospital."
