Knee trouble delays Gloucester prop Knight's Saxons debut
SHAUN Knight will have to bide his time for his England Saxons debut.
A sore knee has ruled him out of tonight’s clash with Irish Wolfhounds in Galway (kick-off 7.35pm).
Leicester’s front-rower Kieran Brookes steps onto the bench in place of Knight, with Gloucester’s Nick Wood still starting at loosehead prop.
Matson-born 22-year-old tighthead Knight has progressed at a rate of knots in the last two years at Gloucester, and is now battling Rupert Harden for the number three shirt.

Even with a man down with one of their props in the sin bin, the inevitable happened and they won that battle. It would never have turned out that way if our best and most skilful tight head, Rupert harden, had been on the field of play.”
