Lack of racecourse buses spoilt lit fest
AS usual, a wonderful time was had at the Literature Festival and to make things even better, the weather was fantastic.
Alas, there was one slight snag that had a lot of folk moaning and that was the buses to and from the racecourse.
My friend and I, along with at least two bus loads of people, had to wait for an hour for the bus to turn up at the racecourse – and then only half the queue was able to get on board with this resulting in a few of us missing our next show.
Once in town there were no signs to guide people back in the right direction of the festival so the two of us were having to show them the way.

If the racecourse is going to be a regular venue then better organisation of the buses should be looked into and maybe tour guides placed outside Marks and Spencer to be able to assist people getting off the bus.
This will save a lot of disappointment and money being waster, especially for those who have travelled a long journey to the town.
