Lady Carole Bamford opens exclusive pub The Wild Rabbit in the Cotswolds
LADY Carole Bamford, the wife of JCB chairman Sir Anthony Bamford, has opened a new - and very exclusive - pub in rural Gloucestershire.
Dubbed the 'poshest pub in Britain', The Wild Rabbit, which is situated in the Cotswolds village of Kingham, boasts an organic ethos in every nook and cranny.
Lady Bamford, 67, has long been a supporter of the organic lifestyle and the pub is the latest in a string of business interests that encompass farms, cafes, spa and bath products and even a range of clothes.
Featuring three log fires and a typically rustic interior, the pub has already proven popular with celebrities, including Amanda Holden, and due to its location is likely to become a regular haunt of the 'Chipping Norton set'- a group of Cotswolds based public figures that includes Prime Minister David Cameron and Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson.

But such luxury doesn't come without a price. A portion of chips at the pub is said to cost £4 - which works out as roughly 70p per chip!
