Latest round of night safety talks to get underway
NIGHT safety partners will meet up next week for the latest round of talks to discuss how to improve the social experience for visitors to Gloucester at night.
The multi agency partnership includes councillors, the police, club and bar owners, taxi and private hire drivers.
The city’s Nightsafe group piled its weight behind a campaign for a six month trial of a pedestrianisation of Eastgate Street on weekends to improve safety in the area at night.
The meetings are chaired by Jennie Dallimore, with the group next meeting up to discuss safety issues on Wednesday, September 25 at the Civic Suite at North Warehouse, starting at 10am.
