Cinderford will play 30 league matches next term rather than 26, with only the champions promoted to the new second tier Championship. The bottom three clubs will be relegated.

Manchester, Otley, Newbury, Sedgeley Park and Esher drop into Cinderford's league from National One, while London Scottish and Nuneaton come up as respective National Three South and North champions.

Launceston, Redruth, Blaydon, Tynedale, Cambridge, Blackheath, Stourbridge and Wharfedale make up a competitive 16-club structure. Cinderford kick-off their campaign at home to Launceston on September 5, before visiting Esher – unlucky to be relegated from National One having won 12 games.

Lydney will also play 30 games rather than 26 in a revamped fourth tier, now known as National Two South.

Again, the champions will be promoted and three clubs relegated.

The runners-up will play the runners-up of National Two North for another promotion spot. The respective North and South champs will meet in a national final.

Lydney's new opponents include Mount's Bay, Westcombe Park and Southend (all relegated from National Two), along with South West One champs Clifton, London One winners Shelford and London One runners-up Barnes.

CINDERFORD have already arranged two pre-season trial matches for the new season. They will host Pontypool on Saturday August 15, followed by Pontypridd on August 22.
