Learning centre opens doors for training
KEY employers and local leaders have attended the official opening of a learning centre in Stroud.
TABS Training, which aims to deliver qualifications to adults from all backgrounds, held an opening day at its new base in London Road.

Local councillors and Jobcentre and business rep-resentatives attended the event, where Stroud MP Neil Carmichael cut a ribbon.
Mr Carmichael gave words of encouragement about the need to train and enthuse the local community towards work.

Kevin Holland, employability and learning advisor at TABS Training, said: "The event went well with our key stakeholders and partners coming to support the official opening." The event is followed by a TABS Training jobs fair, which will be held at the Subscription Rooms in Stroud on July 6.
Local employers are being invited to go along and support the community by offering their help towards gaining sustainable employment for local residents.
"This will aim to aid Stroud's growth to a better future and maintain its recovering labour market," Kevin added.
