Lester will not attend Jackson memorial service
FORMER child star Mark Lester says he will not attend the memorial service for his friend Michael Jackson.
The Oliver! actor, who works as an osteopath from his house in Fairview, Cheltenham, is godfather to all three of Jackson's children.
He says that, rather than flying to America, he will honour the King of Pop with a private vigil at his home instead.
The 51-year-old has become a controversial figure in recent days after claiming to be the biological father of Jackson's daughter, Paris.
The osteopath thinks the girl bears an uncanny resemblance to his 15-year-old daughter Harriet.
He has also called for justice after it reports the singer's death is being treated as homicide.
Mark, who first met Jackson more than 30 years ago, said police should focus investigations on Dr Conrad Murray.
The singer's personal physician allegedly administered a powerful sedative to the King of Pop just hours before he collapsed and died.

“I'm sure it will be a relief for this man to be able to get on with his life and not constantly have to attach himself to the circus that was the singers life ....”
