Letter writing events planned for Stroud campaign against Slad valley homes on Baxters Fields
PEOPLE can find out about the campaign against plans for 140 new houses in fields on the edge of Slad Valley.
Slad Valley Action Group, which has 700 members, will have a stand in Stroud High Street on Saturday to raise awareness of the Gladman Homes' proposals.
The developer has submitted an application to Stroud District Council for permission to build the houses on Baxter's Field near Summer Street.
The action group is also holding drop-in events offering support for people who want tp write letters of objection.

The sessions are at St Laurence Church Hall in The Shambles this Sunday from 2pm to 4pm; The Fountain Inn pub in Slad Road next Tuesday from 7pm to 9pm; and at The Cross Hands in Parliament Street next Wednesday between 7pm and 9pm.
