BLACK Sheep Sports hosted the Mayhill Massacre for a second time, and again they were dogged by bad weather.

A high percentage of the nearly nine-mile course in and around Mayhill was run in deep mud, but it was thoroughly enjoyed by all who took part.

As the second race in the Forest of Dean AC Championship there was a good turnout of members.

First club runner home was Leyton Fleet in a time of one hour, five minutes, 55 seconds, which gave him fourth place in his category.
