“I am generally in favour of a locally living candidate representing a ward, but I disapprove of the LibDems policy of making a song and dance if their candidate happens to live there, but then keeping noticeably stumm when the same is NOT the case in another ward. I would make a plea for some consistency - but then that has never been a characteristic of the party.”

“We had a visit from both the main candidates and had numerous leaflets so they couldn¿t have done any more. If people choose to stay at home that¿s their right but a clear majority of those who voted opted for the winner so he has been legitimately elected as far as I¿m concerned. Well done Charlie!”

“What a great example of how wrong our voting system is.
I'm not knocking the Winner or Cheltenham but the system.
How can less than 14 percent of voters ensure a triumph. Apply this 660 (ish) times and you'll see why our Parliament is crippled.”
