My Life in Gloucestershire: Councillor Andrew Gravells
What's your favourite Gloucestershire day out?
A long walk on the hills near to Gloucester, on a summer day, pretty high up and looking out towards the Severn and Wales. It's so peaceful.

Contact: 01452 223150

What's the worst job you've ever had?
A Sunday paper round when I was a kid. I had to deliver the papers at 7.30am and then go back round again for the money at 10am. Getting money out of people at 10am on a Sunday was tough going for a kid.
Have you got any unusual habits?
I've been known to send a friend's dog texts.
Who is your hero and why?
Robert Kennedy, for his courage in leading the fight to end segregation in the US and taking on some bigoted people, ending generations of evil treatment. I was lucky enough to be in the US around that time as I had an aunt and uncle who moved from Hucclecote to Seattle.
What book are you reading at the moment or tell us your favourite?
I have a stack of books piled up to read, but currently reading One Day by David Nicholls.
What was the last film you watched?
Schindler's List is an all time favourite.
First single/record you ever bought?
Petula Clark's Downtown, and virtually everything she ever recorded after that.
Facebook or Twitter?
Facebook, but I'm pretty useless at posting stuff there.
