What's the worst job you've ever had?
Cleaning photocopiers during the summer as an undergraduate student. That, or working on a chicken farm as a teenager.
Have you got any unusual habits?
Supporting Plymouth Argyle Football Club, which I would count as a habit!
Who is your hero and why?
My dad. He had four kids by the time he was 24, managed his way through job changes during the recession in the 70s and 80s and still found time to develop his education and study. I was less keen on his Morris dancing!
What book are you reading at the moment or tell us your favourite?
The Ghost – a book about John White, a midfielder for Spurs in the late 50s who was killed by lightning on a golf course whilst in his prime. It's written by his son. My favourite book is probably Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness or Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut.
What was the last film you watched?
In Bruges.
First single/record you ever bought?
Are Friends Electric? By Tubeway Army in 1979.
Facebook or Twitter?
Facebook. I don't Tweet.
