My Life in Gloucestershire: Garry King, chief executive of Two Rivers Housing Association
What's your favourite Gloucestershire day out?
A walk up May Hill with family or friends. It is lovely at any time of the year particularly on a clear day, but in snow it is magical.
And your favourite place to eat out in the county?
For a special occasion, the Three Choirs restaurant takes some beating for food and a fantastic location.

What's the worst job you've ever had?
Most have been difficult, but I haven't disliked any of them.
Have you got any unusual habits?
I love reading about historical events and following the recent news that King Richard III has possibly been unearthed in Leicester, I spent quite a long time reading about him.
Who is your hero and why?
Some of the great British social reformers and their bravery in standing up for their views and values, such as William Lovett and his Chartist movement.
What book are you reading at the moment or tell us your favourite?
I'm reading the Kevin Pietersen autobiography, but I have a number of others queued up at the moment including a book on Beekeeping!
What was the last film you watched?
JFK – I missed it first time around and it was on TV.
First single/record you ever bought?
T Rex, 20th Century Boy. I played it constantly until I virtually wore it out.
Facebook or Twitter?
Twitter, but I don't use it as much as I should! @GarryKing5
