My Life in Gloucestershire: Reverend Richard Atkins, BBC Radio Gloucestershire
What's your favourite Gloucestershire day out?
A morning cycling or walking along the Gloucester-Sharpness Canal followed by an afternoon watching Forest Green Rovers.
And your favourite place to eat out in the county?
Has to be the Three Choirs at Newent where Cathy and I once had a wonderful, special meal.

What's the worst job you've ever had?
The one day I spent selling replacement windows door-to-door. I resigned that evening but ended up making them for three weeks until I got the sack!
Have you got any unusual habits?
I always have to be early; my father said it's better to be half an hour early than a minute late – I think I take that to extremes sometimes.
Who is your hero and why?
My Uncle John, now aged 84, he has been like a father to me all through my life.
What book are you reading at the moment or tell us your favourite?
I try to keep two or three books going at a time. At present one of them is Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel.
What was the last film you watched?
I don't do cinemas, so the last one was Lord of the Rings.
First single/record you ever bought?
Keeping on Running from the Spencer Davis Group.
Facebook or Twitter?
Obsessed with Twitter (@atkinsradio) but also on Facebook.
