What's your favourite Gloucestershire day out?

It's a bit of a busman's holiday but I love a day out at WWT Slimbridge with my little boy.

And your favourite place to eat out in the county?

Our favourite local family haunt is The Salmon at Wanswell but for an adults outing we enjoy Wild Garlic in Nailsworth.

What's the worst job you've ever had?

I've been lucky and never had a terrible job but two years spent rehabilitating penguins in South Africa meant that I smelled of pilchard most of the time so I suspect some of my family and friends weren't as fond of that job as I was!

Have you got any unusual habits?

I don't think so but fear people may be pointing them out to me after reading this.

Who is your hero and why?

My parents, for so many reasons.

What book are you reading at the moment or tell us your favourite?

Who killed Marilyn Monroe by Liz Evans was my last read – very enjoyable. Marilyn Monroe is actually a donkey!

What was the last film you watched?

The last Bond film, Skyfall was the last trip to the cinema but at home we watch Cars and Cars 2 quite a lot due to having a three year old boy.

First single/record you ever bought?

I think it might have been Abba and Super Trouper.

Facebook or Twitter? (And what is your twitter handle/name?)

I use Facebook a lot but have never bothered with Twitter.
