Lift-off for balloons in charity drive
SNOW flakes falling from the sky met balloons on their way up in Cheltenham.
A total of 150 were released by staff at Target Public Relations' Bath Road offices yesterday as part of its Big Wigs Challenge fundraising effort for the Sue Ryder charity.
One lucky winner, whose balloon travels the furthest, will receive an overnight stay with dinner for two, donated by the luxury boutique hotel Cotswold 88 in Painswick.
Sarah Bryars, the company's chief executive, said: "We'd like to say a big thank you for the fantastic amount of support from the public over the last three months.
