Pop singer Lily Allen is going to be buying a house in Gloucestershire with a cool £1.3 million price tag, according to reports.

The 24-year-old, whose actor father Keith Allen lives near Stroud, is reportedly lining up a five-bedroom mansion in the Cotswolds as her new home.

Miss Allen faces competition from another potential buyer but is said to have already agreed to meet the asking price, with a deal expected to be done within weeks once she returns from a world tour with singer Dizzee Rascal.

The exact location of the property has yet to be revealed, but it includes an outdoor heated swimming pool, paddocks and equestrian facilities including a stable yard.

It also has high quality security gates to keep onlookers at bay.

Miss Allen has put her three-bedroom North London home up for rent at £750 per week, and made a short-term agreement on another property.
