Lily-Lou wins Echo Cutest Pet 2013
A cavachon called Lily-Lou has won the coveted title of Gloucestershire Echo Cutest Pet 2013.
Almost 15,000 votes were cast in the search for the county’s most lovable creature and the 20-month-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Bichon Frise cross received almost 1,000 votes.
Owner La’Raine Coates, 51, a care assistant who lives in New Barn Lane, said people “just fall in love” with Lily-Lou when they meet her.
“I saw the competition when I was shopping, but I didn’t initially think about entering,” La’Raine explained. “All of my friends and family kept telling me I should enter because Lilly-Lou is such a cute little thing – people call her ‘the little princess’.
